Kim Hyun-ah (born June 6, 1992), better known by the mononym Hyuna, stylized as HyunA, is a South Korean singer, dancer, songwriter and model. She was previously a member of the Korean girl group 4Minute, and was one of the first five original members of Wonder Girls. She is one-half of the musical duo Trouble Maker, and has also led a successful solo career.n 2006, Hyuna made her debut with the Wonder Girls at age 14, a girl group managed by JYP Entertainment, as the group's main rapper. She participated in the group's debut mini album The Wonder Begins, released in February 2007. She was a part of the group's television shows MTV Wonder Girls for two seasons, and co-hosted Show! Music Core with Wonder Girls' Sohee and Fly to the Sky singer Brian Joo from May 12 to June 30. Hyuna left Wonder Girls in July, when she was removed by her parents due to their concern over her health—in particular, chronic gastroenteritis and fainting spells.In 2008, she transferred to Cube Entertainment. Hyuna then debuted as part of the girl group 4Minute. Announced in May 2009, the group debuted with the single, "Hot Issue" on June 15.

Amy Lee (Korean name: Lee Ye-jin; Hangul: 이예진; Hanja: 李藝眞, born 30 May 1989), better known by her stage name Ailee (Hangul: 에일리), is a Korean American singer. She is signed to YMC Entertainment in South Korea[1] and Warner Music in Japan. Before her K-pop debut, Ailee was signed under Muzo Entertainment in America. She moved to South Korea in 2010, where she passed an audition and became an artist for YMC Entertainment. After being recognized for her singing on Singer and Trainee, she started acting on the KBS drama series Dream High 2. She has released four extended plays and one studio album.Ailee received the Best New Artist Award at the MelOn Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards and the Seoul Music Awards. She has also received a Best Newcomer and Four Best Female Vocal Performance awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards for "U&I", "Singing Got Better", "Mind Your Own Business" and "If You(A New Empire Album)". For her work in Fated to Love You's OST, "Goodbye My Love", Ailee won Best Original Soundtrack at the 7th Korea Drama Awards.Ailee was invited as a VIP guest to perform at a pre-Grammy party for the 55th Grammy Awards and attended both the ceremony and red carpet in Los Angeles. She has received the Mnet America Rising Star Award.Ailee was born in Denver, Colorado, on 30 May 1989, but grew up in New Jersey. She attended Palisades Park High School before moving to nearby Leonia. She graduated from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, and went on to study communications at Pace University before dropping out to pursue a career in music. Before her K-pop debut, Ailee was signed under Muzo Entertainment, an independent agency based out of New York City and New Jersey. Under this label she collaborated with several artists, such as Johnnyphlo and Philadelphia-based rapper Decipher. Prior to moving to South Korea, Ailee created the YouTube channels "mzamyx3" and "aileemusic" to bring attention to her singing on the web.Ailee moved to South Korea in 2010 after she landed a music label audition through her uncle's connections.She sang "Resignation" by Big Mama, and was recruited for YMC Entertainment on the spot. During her trainee days, she was featured in labelmate Wheesung's song "They Are Coming", which was released in October 2011. She also sang in Decipher and Jay Park's song "Catch Me If You Can". Ailee performed with Jay Park, Art of Movement, Johnnyphlo, Decipher, and Clara C at "projectKorea III", which was held at Rutgers University in 2010. In September 2011, Ailee and Wheesung were featured on the MBC's Chuseok special episode of Singer and Trainee. Ailee performed "Halo" by Beyoncé, impressing the audience with her powerful vocals and stage presence. After the judges had graded all the participants, Ailee was the first place winner.

Taeyeon

Kim Tae-yeon (born March 9, 1989), better known by the mononym Taeyeon, is a South Korean singer. Born in Jeonju, North Jeolla, Taeyeon was a trainee at S.M. Entertainment's Starlight Academy during middle school and debuted as a member of S.M. Entertainment's girl group Girls' Generation in 2007. Since then, she has risen to prominence thanks to the group's success on the Asian music scene and further participated in S.M. Entertainment's projects Girls' Generation-TTS and SM the Ballad. Aside from group activities, she has also recorded tracks for various television dramas and movies.Over the course of Taeyeon's career, she has been cited as the role model of many idol celebrities. Idol boy band BTS cited her as their inspiration for the name of their title track "Boy In Luv". Other celebrities who named her as their role models are Lovelyz's Jiae, Melody Day's Chahee,Cosmic Girls' Luda, CLC's Elkie, Sonamoo's High.D. and Baek A-yeon. Furthermore, she was the only junior singer selected by Vibe's Yoon Min-soo to fit his purposed subgenre of Korean R&B "K-Soul" due to the reasoning, "I can feel that sort of emotions from the ballads Taeyeon sings. If you can feel a deep soul from a singer, that's 'K-Soul'." Lee Solim, the president of Taeyeon's former school for aspiring entertainers, Starlight Academy, described her as her most memorable student during an interview in 2010. Both her songs "If" and "Can You Hear Me?" have remained in MelOn's Top 100 OSTs since their releases in 2008.In October 2015, Taeyeon was selected as the number one K-pop vocalist by a survey completed by 40 anonymous music industry officials, and in April 2016 was chosen as the best female vocalist in their twenties by music companies (S.M., YG, JYP, Starship, JellyFish, Loen, Antenna, RBW, Fantagio, CJS, Music K). Additionally, Billboard named her as "the year's best solo debut" and her debut single "I" was ranked as the second best K-pop song of 2015, Gallup Korea recorded her as the third most popular idol of 2015, and Forbes Korea listed her as the 11th singer and 32nd celebrity on their Top 40 Power Celebrities of 2016. She became the first Korean female celebrity to reach seven million followers on Instagram on June 9, 2016.
